Ya, this is not some kind of a cause to rally behind.
The free market will give rise to improved experience theaters when this is all over, and although it's unfortunate for low level job holders, places like AMC will have to adapt or go out of business. Their business practices, pricing, untuned sound, etc set them up for diminished ticket sales before all of this began.
Meanwhile, small chain brew 'n views and theaters with "experience yielding" buildings will be fine when things get moving again.
With all of the real shit going on in the streets this is a ridiculous rally cry for action.
