Glad I watched.

When did Jeff stop using the megaphone? What was he using to replace it?

Jeff never used the megaphone. Usually I think they just use an effect on his mic, but in this case they used a separate condesor mic to distor his vocals

The whole band sounded phenomenal. Like really fucking good. Also, the sound and video guys deserve a raise. Wish they'd play Wet My Bed, but who cares. I'm so happy they did this.

And yes, I really, really, really hope they do Purple next!

The sound was really good.  Even better than the album version.
So I'm a bit confused.  Was this a recording from 1992?
Also, who was doing the narrating?  Was it Dean, the whole time?

And I am seeing this error at the end:

Did anyone else get this?

Orgasmic. That was absolutely incredible. Man are they so fortunate to have Jeff, I can't think of anyone who would be doing as great job fronting the band other than our beloved Scott when in good health. What I just watched was better than any of the 08-12 performances with Scott. They got it right with Jeff.

I know I'm personally biased in my opinion, but STP are the best rock & roll band to come from the 90s. The musicianship of this band is right up there with the greats from the 60s & 70s.
Yes, this was better than any of the 3x I saw them then.  I did like seeing them live, but the sound on this was great.  All of the instruments.

Dudes, Gals and Everyone In Between,

I really hope tonight was a huge success for the band. Could you imagine how creative they could get with this medium? Deep Cuts concerts? I would not be surprised in the slightest if 2021 gets fucked up as well and there are no large gatherings allowed. This could be the way to go for them.

It would be very cool if Robert and Dean rotated through their vast guitar collections for a special like this.

“Hey Danielle, do anything exciting this weekend?”

“Yeah, I saw STP in concert.... in my living room.. it was badass.”

Yeah. I’ll be bragging about this.

So from what everyone is saying, that was really Jeff?  And this was live?

I've never seen him before in person.  I was supposed to see the band in February, but they cancelled.
I thought he had long blond hair.

So when this stream started, and I saw someone with short brown hair, I thought they were streaming a recording from 1991 or 1992.

I'm really happy this is being so well recieved.  I've been on the Jeff bandwagon from day one, and I'm glad everyone is recognizing how tight this band is with him

For those that loved the show, there are two EXCELLENT shows with Jeff on Nugs.net now available on FLAC and MP3. Well worth the money. Let's keep supporting this band and hope they continue doing shows like this!

Loved every minute of this. Doing one of these for each album would be a great time.

Random thoughts:
  • was just nice to hear a non stripped down version of plush for the first time in a while.
  • Eric looked like he was having a blast basically the entire time.
  • Dean’s rig sounded absolutely amazing
  • this definitely didn’t feel “live” by any stretch to me. Like I was more expecting a camera showing them all walk on stage and to start jamming with all of them facing us with maybe a couple different camera angles. This definitely had more production value to it than I expected. Not that it matters, the product was amazing. I just hope we get more.
  • I could also just go for a solid hour of their stories that they were telling between songs. Can we get a PPV of that.
  • Was kind of hoping for some sort of encore like playing only dying, or a cover of something random, but eh I’m impossible to please and I’m still hyped. More please.

That's why I thought this was a recording from 1992, when it started.
