I love this song!
I think it has beautiful spring and summer vibe.   8)
It seems like the sun shines throughout the song, and you're standing under sunny sky on the grass.
The verse has a very natural feel. The chorus sounds rather simply, but verses and bridge are really nice.
And the video is great - it explores this vibe:

It perfectly captures the mood of the song and fits the vibe!
I love the voice and band's passionate powerful performance in video.

I'm glad that we have an official video for this track.
We know that this project recorded only 2 songs, so it's a luck, that we have video!

Also the song's arrangements and Scott's image in video show his love for retro (Tiny Music hasn't been recorded yet).

Would like to read your opinions about this song and video.  :)

Hey Alex,

Great post, thanks! I'd never seen that video. I will say I prefer the 12 Bar Blues version of this song. But then again it is tied for my favorite album of all time.

I will say a lot of times we feel things from the music video without really realizing it, maybe kinda like how you described the song. I believe you describe it that way because it's exactly what it shows in the music video. This is one of many reasons why I hate music videos. Music is such an unlimited vast energy and to limit our interpretation of the song with a three-and-a-half-minute visual can really limit the true infinite beauty of music. But then again sometimes its nice to have a visual stamp of that artist at that time. I'd rather go to live footage for that though.

I'm glad that I've discovered this video for you!  :)
Well, I can't say that I describe and feel this song that way only because that video.
No. I usually have very bright associations without any connection with clips.
And this case is just about the perfect fit, perfect accordance.
The video fits the song completely, 100%. That's the case.
And that's why I love both song and clip.
