Whew... I'm still vertical!!

Any "old timers" from my day still hanging around this wonderful forum?

I love that this topic is almost 12 years old.

I was thinking the same thing. The original post mentions an 8-month old daughter, which means she's going about 13 now.

This site has been around long enough for people to have kids who are as old as we were when we first started listening to the band that brought us all together in the first place.

Some of us have kids old enough to be our age when we first came together. Mind. Blown.

Now 40, with teenagers.  whitestripes.net isn't exactly as busy as it was back in 2003 when I created this, but I guess that is too be expected since they broke up!  Updating this as I listen to the FORMAL  Core Reissue version of Only Dying.  Damn, do I miss the old days!

Well right back at you!  Yeah, it just makes me feel old to see this thread I created so many years ago.  So much has happened since.  I loved coming here during the No4 era, so much energy!  This site still holds a special place in my heart.  It resembles my community these days, with a good core group of fans left.

Well.. 42... my eight month old in my initial post from 2003 just turned 17, absolutely crazy.... WhiteStripes.net.. I am most likely going to shut down in the next 12 months.  It’s time.  Marriage.. well, marriage isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be .. still married though.  I wonder if there are any old timers still posting and lurking here?

Glad STP is still alive and kicking. The band deserves got continue to play their music.

I was on STPBBS before this, but i still stop in here regularly.

Glad we have this little community to come back to, even if it’s not as popular and active as years ago.
