Unfortunately, the cats are slowly going to get out of the bag. Scott was an amazing artist and singer. But towards the end, he wasn't really a nice guy.

I do hope some people don't feel to unload now that he can't defend himself but Mary revealed much of what I had been told but didn't want to believe.

He wasn't "not a nice guy". At least initially. Addiction enters through your every pore and reshapes you from the inside out. I've had friends and family members who got involved and ended up stealing cars for a living, or pulling a knife on my friends dad in an attempt to mug him on his own front lawn. The real Scott died long ago.

I doubt Mary is smearing Scott's name post mortem. She's just not sugar coating his slow death.
