Played Shows 2016-now / 2016-11-19 - Private Show w/ Jeff Gutt

On November 19th of last year, STP played a private show for family and friends which was the true debut of Jeff Gutt on vocals. Chester, Jay Baumgardner, and other musicians/music industry folks were there. Jeff invited Chester up to sing a song with the band too.
It's weird to find this out because surely someone here had heard of it or even attended it...? Trying to track down some info on the performance.

April 8th in Long Beach, CA which is actually pretty close to the last STP show in March 2016. Chester and Robert at least live nearby, not sure where Dean lives.
Anyways this is 3 of the 4 STP members from the latest lineup, just missing Eric.

"From Bach to Rock" is an intimate concert, bringing rock stars together with world-renowned classical musicians, taking you on a journey from 17th century to the modern hits of today, all in the spirit of benefiting Palos Verdes Peninsula public schools (proceeds to be donated to the Peninsula Education Foundation - PEF). The event will offer a one-of-a-kind concert, auction, and an epic red carpet after-concert party fit for any rock star. All musicians involved with the event are contributing their time, energy and musical talents in an effort to benefit public education by helping fund programming supported by PEF, including school music, physical education, library and STEM programs, safe school counselors, academic and career counselors, and teacher salaries.

Hi guys. My friend sent me this, "Wow. I just read an interview with Robert DeLeo where he said STP only played in Japan once, in 1993, and they weren't allowed to come back because Scott was caught with drugs. Those 2 shows with Chester were the first time they played in Japan in 20 years. They were also banned from Australia for the same reason."

Does anyone know what happened? The band canceled their Janesville, Wisconsin show ten minutes before they hit the stage.

Hi guys. STP will play The Shindig in Baltimore, MD. Carroll Park. Sept 19. Also on the bill will be Godsmack, Chevelle, Anthrax, Nothing More, and others. STP played an acoustic set before their headlining show in Tempe, AZ later that night. It was put on by 98KUPD. We are looking for anyone who attended and a setlist of what they played. We currently can't find anything about it..... Anyone here attend?

Hey all, just wanted you to know that we're going to be posting all of the STP news and updates on live shows (including setlists from every show from here on out), etc on our new Twitter account we've created for STP w/ CB. Since I know a lot of the STP fans don't want to see the LP news that the LP fansites are posting and I know a lot of LP fans don't want to see the STP stuff, we decided to just use this account for the STP stuff. If anyone's interested you're more than welcome to follow!
All of our threads, etc are in our STP section of LPLive (http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showforum=76) and the whole section is public (meaning you don't have to be a member to read anything).

The Wicked Garden / Setlists: Will they change?

Hi all. Coming from the LP fan perspective here, so don't shoot me, haha. From what I understand, STP previously would change a few songs at each show they played, right? What do you think about the new era? Of course these are the first shows with Chester but do you think they'll change anything this tour?
Are there any other deeper cuts you'd like to see Chester sing? We know he's an avid fan of the band and knows a lot of stuff apparently. And I think they have rehearsed more than what they are playing. For example, I think Pretty Penny and Black Heart (a new song) have both been rehearsed. Maybe even other new songs were rehearsed too. I'd expect at least 2 more of those new tracks to be played this tour before the EP comes out.
