Is there a small chance that some intern accidentally uploaded the original album and named it 'Remastered' ?

And then somehow managed to load disc two and three of the remaster set? No.


This wasn't actually an STP upload, BTW. Youtube automatically uploads albums onto their music platform when they are released. So this is the same thing people on other streaming platforms are listening to.

Remixing also isn’t the same as remastering. Pearl Jam’s Ten is a new mix. Also see the recent Beatles Super Deluxe editions, where they’ve remixed Pepper, White, and Abbey, and they sound great.

Yeah the re release of Ten I own has 2 discs. The first is the original album remastered (which is louder than the original cd pressing) and the second disc is the new remixed version which is even louder again and obviously a noticibly different mix.

Purple 2019 just sounds exactly like Purple 1994 in every single way to my ears.
