Hi guys! My name is Derek and I'm the editor-in-chief of an Alternative Music website called AltWire. We specialize mostly in interviews, and one of the things we love doing is making our interviews more 'fan-centered' and asking the kind of questions that diehard fans would like to know, instead of the usual generic sounding interviews that you can find everywhere else. I'm excited to say that I may be interviewing Robert soon and we would love to open some of the questions to fans. You can literally submit any questions you'd like, and the best ones will be asked to during our interview. Looking forward to your responses! Since the interview may be scheduled at any time soon, please submit questions you may have ASAP. Thanks!

Ask him if they'd consider releasing a 2000-2002 era show? Like Rolling Rock.

Hello.

Here are some suggestions;

1. Could the guys be into making a proper full length documentary on the band's history? How likely
will we see one in the near or distant future?

2. Which STP song (out them all) was the hardest to get just right in the studio?

"How can you guys keep playing under the STP name??!!!  Think of the LEGACY"
Hr308: "Cuatro, i nearly did this because 5 g's is nothing to me."

Vaporized - "I can confirm that it's neither Gutt or Borja."

I would second this question, but would only modify it by saying 1999-2002.  A 2001-2002 show would be the ultimate though.
Also, the band has said in interviews that Jeff came in on the last day of auditions or whatever they were calling it.  Did they already have somebody they had pretty much made their mind up on choosing until Jeff came in at the last minute?

Robert is known for his brilliant nuanced bass lines.  However they can be hard to hear clearly in the mix.  Songs like Glide if you listen closely have brilliant bass fills and runs.  We already have some isolated STP bass tracks from the old official website (stonetemplepilots.com/stems) including Adhesive, Sex and Violence, Atlanta, etc.  We have more isolated bass tracks from audio rips from Guitar Hero/RockBand (Vasoline, Interstate Love Song, Plush, Trippin', etc.) that people put on Youtube.  We know this is possible, so my question is, Robert, can we please get more isolated STP tracks from the rest of the catalogue so we can hear your bass parts (even the drum and guitar for that matter) in their purest form?

This would be my question too. Did they have someone they liked and would have gone with had Jeff not presented himself on the last day of rehearsals?

-  Why have they never done an official home video release of the 1999 Las Vegas show, which most members of the band describe as one of the best shows ever played, and are they considering releasing it in the future?

- Are there any deep cuts he's particularly excited about playing with Jeff?

- Any chance of songs from Self Titled and High Rise being played live in the future?

- They recorded several songs recorded with Chester in 2015, were those songs re-purposed for the album with Jeff? If not, is there the possibility of Chester's versions being released some day?

- Are they planning an anniversary release of Purple like the one we got for Core, and if so can we get a little tease of what they plan to put on it?

What is your favorite memory of Scott?

Does the band plan to release any future box sets, DVD concerts, or special anniversary sets?

STP is somewhat known for some musical projects, performances, or releases never coming to fruition. What was the one you were most disappointed not to see?

I remember years ago hearing that he had some solo material. I was wondering if he was planning on releasing it at all?

Additionally, will anything from the SLDD era ever see the light of day, specifically the documentary and the speculated coffee table book.

Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Tally my vote for the SLDD footage (that probably won’t see the light of day until a SLDD reissue but still)

Also, this question...
- They recorded several songs recorded with Chester in 2015, were those songs re-purposed for the album with Jeff? If not, is there the possibility of Chester's versions being released some day?

What is behind Ross Halfin’s rumor that he and Dean were going to hook up with Chris Robinson back in ‘03?

These all are fantastic, and a great reason as to why I like opening these up to fans. Some very fan centered questions here that you wouldn't see asked normally. Thank you! Keep em coming guys. This interview could be anywhere from next week, to next month...but that doesn't mean you folks should stop submitting ;).
