Noah Weiland (Roman) - ‘Relapse’ (3 songs)

So I’ve just seen a post on STP Legacy on Facebook with a link to some songs by Noah, two of which feature Slash’s son London! I’d seen pictures of the 2 of them together recently and heard they were working on music.
‘That Summer’ is the strongest track out of the 3 and I can definitely hear some Scottie in the vocals in parts of it.


I’m unsure what London’s contributions are on the other 2 songs? I’m assuming it’s guitar but the vocals sound different on those 2 tracks so maybe he’s singing on those and Noah produced? Anyway thought I’d post as it’s great to hear him making music!

He does sound like a young Scott. It's kinda surreal. Way too much autotune though.

I definitely hear tones of his dad in him; it's clear as day. It's nice to see that he is doing something musically. "That Summer" reminds me way too much of Warped Tour circa 2005 or something you'd hear in Hot Topic while looking at reproduction t-shirts.  The other songs though, YEAH!!! Those are raw and have some teeth!

If these guys released a record in the vein of " Tryna Figure It Out" and "Shark Attack" I'd buy it and blast it in my car.

Just purchased from iTunes (was a bit hard to find). 
The other stuff he released was very hip hop/rap, so this is a nice surprise. Love the chorus on That Summer

Can't stop listening to That Summer.... It's, without irony got Weiland's DNA all over and is catchy in it's own right. And the chorus has the sort of testosterone swagger that is a benchmark of a Weiland track that I've always thought was so great.

I'm really thankful for this track and I think it's great in it's own right. I keep streaming it on soundcloud. Love an album like this.

Still not really my style of music, but cool to see him going in more of a rock direction.

On a more serious note, you kinda got to worry a little that he called the album 'Relapse'. Would hate to see him making light of or even glorifying addiction given his family history. Hopefully he isn't going down that path.
