Truthfully, I don't think it would have mattered...I think most of these tix were gone even before they went on sale..but that's only my opinion. I have NEVER had a problem getting tickets. I have been doing it for years and I have always gotten in....Maybe I did fuck myself by posting it and for those who feel it was my fault by posting the password, I'm sorry.

It's 11:18 a.m. on Thursday. The pre-sale started an hour and twenty minutes ago... After being locked out at 10:00 on the nose,  and checking other options, I just went back on Live Nation and PURCHASED 4 TICKETS...Unreal...PEEBS, TWO OF THE TICKETS I PURCHASED ARE FOR YOU. :)  Send me a PM and we'll make arrangements for me to send them out to you.....If anyone knows how or why this happened, please explain?? Thanks

It's called a ticket drop.  Lots of times they trickle out the tickets in blocks.  Sometimes they have others that become available again if someone dumps them, or their credit card is rejected, or they go over the allotted limit, lots of reasons.  That's why you never give up.  I sometimes get them a few hrs later.  That's why nothing is ever really "sold out", they hold some back after the public sales for corporate, band members, etc.  and usually a day or 2 before, or the day of the show they will release some more.

Yeah, kind bullshit...

Krock's site didn't say where the tickets were going on sale... and Ticketmaster had the event but no pre-sale this morning, and after trying ticketmaster for like 3 minutes, Live nation was already sold out!  And the real kicker is that I only wanted 1!!!

I wouldn't blame people who posted the "password".... cause it was such a simple thing to get, especially with krock.  I'm sure if they released 500 tickets for the pre-sale... 300+ went to scumbag brokers and the rest got bought up by actual fans.

What I have an issue with on radio presales is Ticketmaster allows you to buy up to 8 tickets. It should be a limit of 4.
8 just encourages scalping.
If you don't like STP, then you're pretty much not American (from a MO message board)

I totally agree... tickets should be limited to 4 (IMO it should be limited at all times).  But then again, I'm a big fan of the old days where you'd have to physically go wait in line for tickets or wristbands to get tickets.  Now everything is done online, it's set up against actual fans.  Ticketmaster and live nation's websites can't handle the traffic when some shows go on sale, and scalpers have programs/machines that just connect/bypass a lot of safeguards so they can buy up tons of tickets fast.  And these websites allow that since it helps them create demand and sell tickets quicker.

On a side note... listening to krock earlier, whenever they play that promo for this show, they mostly play STP clips, so most of the people who bought tickets are probably expecting a STP/VR type rock gig.   And all I can think about is that line where Scott recently said that his new album may turn off STP fans.  It's kinda funny.

If anyone is interested, I have extra tickets for the Fillmore. I have 2 sets I am trying to get rid of. Of course,  I'm selling them for what I paid for them. My email is xmasbabe56@aol.com.  Thanks :)

What's the difference between the Charity Ticket and Full Price Ticket, aside from the price?

Both say "PRICE LEVEL 1- STANDING RM ONLY*NO SEATING! "

It's a show for http://www.foodbanknyc.org/
So they said you can either make  a donation at the time of the ticket purchase OR at Irving Plaza on the day of the show.

Does anyone know anything about this FAST LANE  that we have access to for the show ??? All it says is that we don't have to wait in line....but I would think anyone that purchased a ticket for the show thru Live Nation would have access to it also...
