The rehab thing is old news. It's currently "some dumb shit" holding the release back. Not sure if the dumb shit is a person or legal hurdles.  🤔

Came here looking for new info on this and nothing.

I messaged Doug some time back but he never got back to me with details or with his NFT release plan. Which to be honest I think is going to be too complex for anyone who isn't an early crypto adopter anyway.

Yeah Doug seemed excited about all this and getting out then nothing.  If I had to guess I would say there are legal issues or the estate isn't willing to pay Doug a fair price for his services

The way this was announced, I had a feeling all along it wasn't being done through the proper, legal channels. That's my guess as to the indefinite delay. I think Scott's covers album was done outside of those norms, too.

Any news on this album? At some point I hope the conflicting parties can agree on something for the sake of getting art out to the fans. Doug has to feel pretty special to be sitting on a treasure trove of Weiland material that nobody else in the world has ever heard.
