This is just a lovely arrangement. Love the sounds of the guitars and drums, and it's great to hear Dave singing again.Man, I listened to that Talk Show album so many times during my junior year of high school, so this is just really special to have this now.It was really unique to hear how the song progressed from the rough track I used as a template to record to - to the finished product. Dave And Marty worked tirelessly at getting it to where it's at. I was always hoping for a 2nd Talk Show album, and when I discovered the live version of Saturday some years back, it almost made the longing WORSE! I can relate to how you feel for sure.Sonically, it sounds great. Love the guitar solo too. Great Dean vibe. I'm curious. There's a very obvious vocal similarity to Dave's attack on the verse to what ended up on Glide too. Not pinning one track vs the other, but is it possible that Scott lifted the approach from the Saturday "demo"? We know it's happened before. Just wondering what everyone thinks and if Dave ever felt that way at all?

That verse was a Robert vocal melody for them to base their lines on.
We have a new mix up now. https://youtu.be/Ej9q3ERrr18
Cool, always enjoyed that Talk Show record, and I remember hearing the live Saturdays. Was that from the Foo Fighters tour?Anyway, I get a slight Oasis vibe from it, which is a compliment, btw.

You don't happen to have any soundboard recordings of your TS Prodigy cover do you?I don't. That seemed like a really "out of left field" cover for them to do. I always though "It's Late", or "Spread Your Wings" by Queen would have been kick ass covers for them to do with Dave's range.
Any chance that this will be officially released?

This is incredible. I've always enjoyed Dave's vocals and lyrics. The guy sounds like grunge Freddie Mercury, and his lyrics actually mean something most of the time. I'm willing to bet that if Talk Show were to get back together they would get just as much support as the current lineup of STP... if not more from loyal fans.
