I have a free ticket to tonight’s show if anyone in the New England area is interested. It’s a printed ticket so you’ll have to be able meet me at Foxwoods before the show. Pm me for details.

I have to admit I'm not impressed by this setlist. Glad to see they played "Sour Girl" though. Would like to see them drop Vasoline & Trippin' On A Hole... (those two songs have been played to DEATH!!) and play some newer songs from the last CD instead.

First time playing both Sour Girl and Meatplow with Jeff, so that's cool. and this video the band reposted on Instagram shows Dean using new a single humbucker Les Paul Junior style guitar for Trippin, so that's interesting too.

It's a shame they only played a 16 song set, but all things considered I think it's a pretty diverse setlist for that length of a show.

Never, ever, ever going to happen. For one thing those are two of the bands biggest crowdpleasers, and for another they are both really short so there's not a whole lot of songs you could replace them with them anyway. There's literally no reason to drop them.. Besides maybe three or four guys per show who are tired of hearing it.

It was a very strange crowd. It was at a casino and it seemed there were a good amount of comped tickets so you had pockets of older concert goers sprinkled throughout the theater. Pockets of people sitting through the entire show. Early on in the set during Vasoline Jeff even climbed down and walked through the crowd to try and get people standing.

Besides that it was a great set for an STP fan. I agree it was a little short. Highlight was meatplow and deans solo during sour girl. Also they played Plush in its original form unlike the slow and chunky version they’ve been doing. That was a great change IMO.

Is this the tour with Rival Sons? If not, is STP headlining that tour?

It looks like they played a longer set one night than the other... is that because of who is playing first vs. second?

The show they played the night before was a festival, so that would account for the shorter setl length.

Interestingly, I can't find anything that says the co-headlined the Foxwoods show, or even anything saying there was an opening act... so I have no idea why the would play a 16 song set for a solo headliner, instead of the usual 18-21 songs

It was a solo headlining show. Camp Howard opened for them. The one interesting thing I noticed is that they went on a little later than there usual 9pm start time. STP didn’t hit the stage until around 9:20pm

It will be interesting to see how long their set is with the co-headlining shows. Maybe they were experimenting to see what they could get in with a shortened set?

The last two shows had set lists named “75-min set” ver. 2 and ver. 3. If they rotate, they would use version 1 at the next show.

No, Rival Sons dates start the 13th, I believe. And it’s not a co-headliner where they switch slots. STP will play last on all the dates with Rival Sons.

All the press I have read seems to say co headlining. I would like to go but don't want to see an abbreviated set.
