This just got uploaded to YouTube yesterday, very interesting interview with the band, especially Scott, on the Howard Stern Show in 2004. This is my first time seeing this footage. Some pretty bold statements from Scott such as “I won’t be going back to rehab again. I’m clean now for good” and “This (VR) is the band I see myself closing my rock and roll life with”. He also details bumping into Robert & Dean when they were in the same studio as him and making amends with them. He definitely had good intentions, he seemed genuinely excited for the future when VR first started...

P.S. Watch or save this before it gets taken down, Stern footage always seems to get removed from YT.

It's already been blocked.


Oh well, I was never a fan of Velvet Revolver anyway.  I just saw it as something Scott was wasting time doing instead of playing with STP.

Wow, that was quick. I hope a few people at least got to see it before it got pulled. I thought it would last longer than a day!

Managed to watch it at work yesterday, was a good interview. Scott seemed so optimistic.

Nice to see Stern uploading these gems from Scott’s career but it’s a shame he didn’t include that interview. I’d love to see that again.
