Perdida Mixer on the Official Site

The official STP site has added a 'mixer' with all tracks from Perdida: http://mixer.stonetemplepilots.com/

Pretty cool, even though various recording tracks have been merged (vocals with backing vocals, different instruments together) into single tracks, probably for convenience's sake.

If the online mixer is a little limited for your taste and you would like to play with the individual streams with more freedom in your own multitrack environments, you can download the different tracks from the official site:

I recommend downloading Reaper (www.reaper.fm) and then importing these mp3's as separate tracks so you can have real power on the mixing board.

Is it just me or was the string outro cut from Sunburst?

The mixing desk doesn’t play any sound at all on my iPhone but I’ll try playing around with it on my laptop at some point. Will probably make some instrumental versions of my favourite tracks from the stems too. Great for singing along to!

It is just a beautiful album, and being able to play around with the stems really helps show that. Some albums would probably not sound as great broken down like this, but Perdida shines. It's beautiful inside and out.
