Hey people,

A few years ago I started singing in my band and shared some of my music back then here. Well, some time has passed and I got better, our songs got better, the band named changed (for the better haha), and I wanted to share our latest music video for a track that is heavily influenced by STP, as well as AIC, Soundgarden, etc. with a bit of a psychedelic "desert" feel. Wanted to share and get some comments back:

Hope you all enjoy! (The rest of our music is on all digital platforms and we're releasing 3 new singles this year as well)

Scott Weiland / Mark Lanegan and Scott Weiland
« on: April 29, 2020, 10:56:18 AM »
So I‘m reading Lanegan’s memoir that just came out (it’s great) and this little interesting tidbit of info came up - apparently he ran into Scott around 1995/1996 at a Buprenex clinic in LA...he mentions they had hung out fucked
up a few times and that he “sang on one of their records that was never released.” Now obviously STP released Tiny Music and as far as we know there are no b-sides (outside of talk show demos), so given the timeline and chemical circumstances lol I’d have to say Lanegan probably was talking about the Magnificent Bastards...but does anyone know anything further about this? Was this ever knowledge in the 90s?

I was there for my birthday (turned 22)!! It was an awesome show, even though some of the "deeper" cuts / new songs were not as excitedly received by the crowd, it was still awesome to see that big of a crowd come together for STP's set. I was appropriately sauced up / stoned on my birthday and with the sun shining down during their set, it was pretty blissful haha. Fun fact, during ILS, when Jeff sang "leaving on a southern train", a train literally went by behind the stage...pretty crazy synergy there!

Just recently played our first show at The Whisky a Go Go in LA!! Here's some footage of "Bullet w/ Butterfly Wings" which we covered (along w/ Sex Type Thing) in addition to the 4 originals we played. Check it out and let me know thoughts! I was coming down with a cold so my voice is a bit "thick" on this, but enjoy!

Hello everyone, just wanted to let you know I released a new track! Feel really good about the lyrics on this one compared to my older songs. It's heavier (and dare I say "grungier") but I think most of you could dig this:

We're also playing a show at The Whisky in LA on Sunday Jan 29th at 9:30pm if anyone is in town/interested! Cheers!

Let me know your thoughts and enjoy!:

Scott Weiland / Re: Tributes to Scott
« on: September 26, 2016, 09:45:27 AM »
I've been covering Scott/STP a lot since he passed (really decided to make singing my priority creatively sort of as a tribute to Scott). I posted this on another thread but I guess no one saw haha. My impulsive/off the cuff partial vocal of Sex Type Thing:

I'd like to do more and post more Scott-related covers in the future forsure

P.S. if anyone is interested they can check out my original music on that same SoundCloud profile...

Here's a piece of a vocal cover I did for "Sex Type Thing" - it's really just the last verse through the end of the song (kind of an impulsve cover haha). Let me know what you guys think! Also, check out my band's latest single "Metamorphic" on our SoundCloud!

Hey everyone! Put up my band's second and latest single of original material on SoundCloud. A heavier track, can't say for sure that there was one band or style that influenced it, but I've heard from others it's reminiscent of Alice in Chains or early STP! There are lyrics for it on the link as well. Check it out and let me know if you enjoy!:

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah I think for better or for worse, when I cover songs I tend to try to adapt my voice to that particular singer, still trying to figure out my style I guess. Appreciate the compliment on my original stuff though!

For any Smashing Pumpkins fans out there, I did a one-take "livestyle" vocal cover of "Zero" by Smashing Pumpkins...would love to hear some feedback! I have some STP ones too, but I'd rather wait for feedback before posting them haha...

Not to sell myself too much here, but we're back in the studio this week working on some heavier material and I had the chance the re-record and remix some of the vocals on this song, so here's the improved version!:
