I just watched some video of STP doing a show not to long ago and it seems like Dean has been getting carried away with the Gnocchi.    I myself have put on a few pounds over the years but i'm not a rockstar up on stage playing for the people.

I've heard he's starting a new band called Stone Temple Pie Fats. They play STP songs but Macaulay Culkin is the singer and he changed the words so the songs are about eating pies for every meal. It's clever shit, you can hear some of Macaulay's words about pie in his "Pizza Underground" Velvet Underground cover band.

The music biz puts  lots and lots of emphasis on image but, if you are already established and the boss, you can get away with it. There were some damn good singers in the singer search that were passed up because of their weight and or image. The boss can also afford to hire a personal trainer. I wish I had someone to yell at me while I am working out. LOL
