Did anyone else buy the meet and greet tickets? If so, do you know if it takes place before or after the show? In the past when I've bought meet and greet tix for other bands it's been really clear with an email at the time of purchase that clearly stated when and where it all took place. This experience has been kinda strange so far. At the time of purchase you could only choose to get your tickets to the show at will call on the day of the show and there hasn't been a peep about the meet and greet. Just curious if anyone else knows anything about this.

In NJ it was a pre-show m&g. I'd imagine it to be similar throughout the tour, but I can't say it with 100% certainty.

The show was great, the band was cohesive. Robert and Dean did some talking, and they were both moving around more than I remember them doing in years past. I got the feeling that they were unencumbered - as if they are free to be stage-rock-stars in a way that they couldn't or wouldn't do in the past under the large shadow of a stage-capturing Scott Weiland.

The bass heavy mix was a stand out for me at this show, and the overall sound quality was great from our vantage point near the stage in between Dean the speaker systems. The prominence of deeper, bassy tones left me with a real hard-rock-show feeling. Not quite metal, but more akin to the bass heavy shows you'd normally see from bands like Theory Of A Deadman or Fuel. It served STP well here, and the opening, bassy punch of Down set the tone for the whole show.  Basically all of the music was mixed with a lower, deeper, bassier, more "metal" key, and it added a lot of power to the heavier components of the catalog.

Jeff drew a nice balance between stage presence and sound quality. He sounded great on Roll Me Under. You could really tell that was his song. I was impressed, but I was also impressed with Chester some years back. But this time I am more accepting of Jeff as the continuing front man for the band. I lament that Scott Weiland will never front this band again, but STP has a singer that can honor the legacy in Jeff.  After seeing the show, it's easier to accept him as a permanent front man, in part because there's clearly no chance of Scott doing but also in part because the performance was so strong.

And I am really happy that we are getting shows now with the overall sound quality - both in deep rock tonality, but also in vocal performance that many of us long time fans have wanted.  It was a good show, with a setlist that demanded accurate work by the band, who delivered. I am glad to have added a JeffTP show to my life's collection of concerts.

It's gone now, but someone on the setlist wiki site setlist.fm had Ride The Cliche as part of the set! It's since been replaced with Glide. I was gonna say!

Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

The band was killer last night. This was far better of a show than any reunion era performance I ever attended. You could tell they were genuinely happy to be up there doing what it is they do.

Don't get me started on Setlist.fm. They list 33 dates for STP on Lollapalooza '92 and there's admins who refuse to take the misinformation down...

We got Pruno (!) instead of LoungeFly in Brooklyn. Otherwise set was pretty much the same. First time seeing them as STP with a new singer and share similar thoughts as IMJ. I had fun and would see them again... hearing the slides on big empty or the bass on ILS is always worth the price of admission...waiting waiting for that 25th package.

My only exit is a one way out...
