They just released a follow up single and video a couple days ago. This band is pretty good:

That's three truly solid songs from this kid so far. :) Good for him. The lyrical content is a little indicative of his age (singing about summers, hot chicks and girls looking hot in black), but I don't begrudge them that. That's basically what's on your mind all the time at that point.

Quite frankly if it stays that way it means the kid is living a normal life and not getting into trouble, so let it be. The music is solid. :)

Just watched "All Black". Noah sounds just like what you'd imagine a young Scott would sound like, and he seems to have his dad's charisma. I dig the song. It's VR-style rock but a lighthearted, fun, West Coast/LA vibe. The lyrics are fine -- like IMJ, if it means he's happy and having fun, then good. The video is great. Makes me wish I was 20 again.

This band has serious potential. These kids are princes of rock royalty. I'm happy and excited for them. We will watch their career with great interest.

These guys sound good but unfortunately it looks like Noah was kicked out of the band for some reason.  I wonder what the story is.

Edit: Noah%u2019s doing a live feed on Instagram right now and it seems like the reason he was kicked out is he is addicted to drugs.  Following his dad%u2019s path I guess..

Shocking.

In one of the interviews, he was talking about feeling like he is multiple people, etc.

Sounds like a train wreck.

It seems too soon for them to be kicking him out and publicly looking for a new singer. They are so young. They have all the time, resources, and support they need. It seems like they should be able to give Noah more time and support to work through this. I just hate to see this start happening to Scott's son already. Kinda heartbreaking.

It's sad for Noah, but they'd be mad to go into a situation like this knowing the front man is fucked up before you've even got your first record out. If his drug problem is causing them issues already (at just 19 years old), from their POV I can entirely see why they would want to cut their losses and move on, quickly.

Really hope it's "only" weed, but sounds more serious than that. Hope Noah gets his stuff together and gets help, if he's got some problems. Kid definitely has some swagger.

Although it is a little suspect (no pun), that the new singer should specifically do a cover of 'Black Dog', so in other words, they want someone whose more classic/cock rock type, big voice and the artistic influences probably shouldn't include cheesy ass rappers. So...don't be the Noah Weiland
type lol

The fact the All Black video had hints of Fall To Pieces should have been a sign.

Scott’s issues were never his fault. Seems like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Not gonna lie, kinda saw this coming. Noah's behavior on social media sure seemed to suggest drug use... Hope he gets help

Scott%u2019s issues were never his fault.

Addiction is a hell of a demon, but it still requires poor decision making. Pretending Scott didn't have a hand in his own addiction belittles the myriad of mistakes he actively made that led to that life. Noah and anyone fighting addiction needs to accept that both addiction and recovery are their own responsibility, and that they need to make active decisions to improve their lives.
Grab the hate and drown it out...

Boom. That's one of the things I can't stand about how some science gets twisted in pop culture. For example, "drug use is genetic and it's a disease". This statement in of itself is true. But it's a scientific truth. But in social situations the real meaning of this is twisted and actually those words become used by the social circles as enablers.

"Well he has a predisposition to do this" and it's like an excuse for the behavior to continue.

But guess what assholes? If you never took the drugs in the first place your body wouldn't respond with it's predisposition.

So the point is that people pretend that "predisposition" means that your body somehow magically makes you seek out a coke line or raise a crack pipe to your mouth for the first time, which is a complete manipulation of the facts and a lie to justify behavior.

The fact Noah is going on Instagram and talking about other people’s issues is pure deflection. Just like Scott would do.

Oh Dean did drugs.

Oh everyone except Dave Kushner does drugs.

The fact of the matter is, it must have been bad for them to fire Noah. This is the absolute worst path for them after they had caught a little spark of something great.

Is he doing that? His Insta only has like 4 posts on it and I've only caught him live streaming maybe 3 times....
