Scott: Comic Book Fan?

This may be a coincidence, but does anyone know if Scott is a comic book fan?
He's been on (or almost been on) quite a few soundtracks for comic book movies:
Velvet Revolver - "Set Me Free" - Hulk
The Magnificent Batards - "Mockingbird Girl" - Tank Girl
STP - "Big Empty" - The Crow
"All In The Suit..." was rumored at one point to be on Spider-man and Daredevil.
Scott also mentions Superman a few times in his lyrics. Granted not the man of steel, but he still says Superman.
