Its probably none of my business, but before the song starts, Scott dedicates it to the memory of Robert Parano [and his family].
Any backround story that i'm not aware of?

No idea who that is.

Matt and I asked him who Dale Menke is when we were in PA.  Apparently, it was the father of a childhood friend of Weiland.

scotts said this song was like his last-ditch effort to convince himself he wasnt a heroin addict. so maybe its about somebody he knew who abused drugs and died from it, and by writing the song he was saying "im better than that", before realizing that he actually wasnt much better.

Ive listened to this song several times today. I listened to the headbangers ball acoustic version of plush then pretty pretty and almost makes you think the two are in correlation. like pretty penny could be the next chapter to plush or something.
I know its been a while but any updates on who robert parano is? Ive been wondering this for a while now. Maybe a childhood friend?
