Where did this info come from? Man, these guys ditched on TALO real quick. I wonder when Cinnamon will be shot?

Thank God. I like TALO, but its definitely not single worthy, and Scott's voice is wayyyy over produced on it. Listen to him yell "record store" at the end of the song.... its pretty comical.

All I want is for STP to be relevant again, and I think a super poppy song like "Cinnamon" might do the trick.

I'm still pushing for "Maver" and "First Kiss" (best songs on the album) to be released.

This is GREAT news. The sooner Cinnamon is released with a video, the better. TALO's an awesome song, but as far as singles go, it's not gonna stand out to the masses. I've been pushing for Cinnamon all along to get the spotlight, even though it may not be vintage STP. They've already proved to the world they're still the STP of old by releasing two heavy, respectable rockers as their first two singles, so they wont get any flack for a 3rd single of such saccharinne nature.

If this does well that means they won't hesitate in putting out a 4th single (crossing my fingers for FKOM or HC)
When STP had a cookout after filming the video for the Core single "Plush," Weiland made jerk chicken that was "spectacular," Dean raves.

I wonder if the band will be in the video. They haven't mentioned it at all. Perhaps this will be one of those videos that features old footage or studio footage. Either way, glad to see another STP video.

I'm still against it, but it IS single material. We'll see what happens.

Like I said before, I hope it does well as a single. If it doesn't, then what?

Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Yeah, if this single flops what does the future of the band hold? Seeing TALO bomb was a pretty big blow to the STP hubris. If Cinnamon bombs, which I really can't see, but who knows, then really why would STP release a 4th single or any new music in the near future? My fingers are crossed. It is either ground zero or back in the midst of mainstream music. Quite the dichotomy there. I am scared yet excited.

I guess it's official now that Cinnamon is going to be the 3rd single.  Excellent choice, IMO.  Could be this album's Sour Girl.

Releasing Cinnamon reeks of desperation IMO.

I think with a video for Cinnamon, I think they would do a good job at telling some love story or making a cute pop video in my opinion. I would obviously match the song. As far as them maybe passing by Take A Load Off or not being as successful, didn't the same thing happen after Days Of The Week? The singles following that song weren't as successful. Just gotta hope for the best with Cinnamon.

This is embarrassing.  The days of STP being relevant are over, we just need to accept it.

It is great to have a new album but lets just leave it at that.  Cinnamon is a joke of a song...to release it is mind blowing.  Sure every album has a weird song but you never release it!

This is just desperation, it sucks but what can you do.

It's sad there is no market for rock music nowadays, Huckleberry Crumble, Hickory Dichotomy, Bagman are all solid rock tunes.
