so frustrating...whatever i've said many times before that STP's level of popularity in the music world doesnt affect my opinion of their music. still it would be nice to see them get more appreciation for the wonderful album that is Stone Temple Pilots

I think they are waiting till they come back to the States and do some local shows before they release it. They missed the opportunity with the whole TALO fiasco (which probably can include their Leno cancelation) and they're maybe going to wait till there is another "decent" moment to push it... Or it could be scrapped and be released as some B-side computer extra on their next album's 2nd single.

I agree, it doesn't affect our take on the band, but I too want them to get more appreciation for the last album, and I want the DeLeos and Kretz to earn loads of money

i dont even like this song but i was pushing for it to be the massive hit that could have been.
This is really a song that could have been a huge cross over hit but is now down the drain. Van Halen will make a new record before this music video comes out

These guys need new management. Things like this happen entirely TOO OFTEN.
I wish the guys in STP nothing but success and it seems like they fall victim to the lack of follow-through too much.
I don't know whose fault it is, but I don't like it.

I've got a feeling it's general mismanagment, and that too much touring means that Scott's losing his energy and excitement again.  He's probably thinking fuck the book and fuck the video, and he's just on autodrive now.  Completely my own view on it though, hopefully I'm wrong...

They just attempted to film the video for it again a few weeks ago.  Why spend the money for a video twice if the single and album is dead?

WHy? Because they are ST motherfuckin' P. That's why. They do stuff cause they just feel like it at the time. If they're not 150% satisfied (which is 99% of the time), the tape gets a nice hand-written label on it and carefully tossed in the back of Robert's bedroom closet to never be seen by the public again. They spent thousands of dollars filming the making of Shangri-La Dee Da so that Robert could add another tape to his awesome collection of rare never-before-seen STP stuff in the back of his bedroom closet.
